How to set up your review page

Learn how to set up your review page on Reputation → Link: your custom URL, your logo, what customers see first, and where reviewers go.

Setting up your Praising.ai account correctly helps you collect genuine customer feedback and manage your online reputation. The Review Link page, under Reputation → Link in the left-hand navigation, lets you customize how customers interact with your review collection process, from the link itself to what they see first.

Step 1: Configure your review link URL

Start by customizing your review collection URL to match your brand. Type a short name in the Custom URL field. Once you save, the Preview URL box below it shows the link customers will use, and your original link keeps working.

This custom URL makes it easy to share your review link across different marketing channels while keeping things looking professional.

Step 2: Upload your brand media

Add your logo or brand image to personalize the review experience for your customers. This builds trust and brand recognition during the review process.

The Account page in Settings

Your uploaded image will appear on the review page, so customers immediately know they're in the right place.

Step 3: Choose what customers see first

By default, your review page opens on the "Experience Filter" page, where each customer chooses between leaving a review and sending you a private message. Turn on Disable Experience Filter to skip that page: customers go straight to your review sites, with a Feedback button if they'd rather message you privately.

The Access tab on the Account page

The Show “Message us privately” option switch is on by default. Turn it off to show only your review sites. If no review site is connected yet, customers still get the private message form, since there's nowhere public to send them.

Step 4: Decide whether to ask for a rating first

Pick Other in the menu at the top of the form to find Ask for a rating first. When it's on, your review page opens with a star rating. Whatever the rating, customers then get the same two choices: post a public review, or send you a private message.

The Billing Info tab on the Account page

It's off by default. The rating never decides where a customer can go: a rating of 1 to 3 stars only swaps the thank-you line for a short apology, and every customer can still post a public review.

Step 5: Choose where reviewers go

Pick Review Sites in the menu at the top of the form. Paste your Google review link into Where reviewers go; that's where the review page's Leave a review option sends customers, and no Google connection is needed.

Under Order on your review page, put your review sites in the order customers should see them. A site you connect later is added at the bottom.

Step 6: Save your configuration

Once everything looks right, save your changes to activate the new configuration.

Tip: After saving, open your review page directly by clicking Open your review page in the left-hand navigation. This ensures your customers will have the experience you intended.

Your settings take effect immediately. Any new review requests will use your updated configuration, and existing review links will reflect the changes too.
