How to update your business profile

Learn how to update your business profile details, including location, team, and account settings, to keep your information current.

Your business profile in Praising.ai drives everything from review requests to AI-generated responses. Keeping your location details accurate means customers and automated workflows always have the right information about your business.

Prerequisites

  • You must be logged in to your Praising.ai account

  • You need Admin or Owner-level access to edit location settings

Steps

1. Open the Locations page

In the left sidebar, navigate to Settings, then click Locations under the Business Settings section. The Locations page loads at https://app.praising.ai/dashboard/settings/locations. You'll see all active locations associated with your account. In this example, Acme Coffee — Downtown at 123 Congress Ave, Austin, USA is listed as Active.

Check this overview to confirm which locations are live before making any edits.

CLICK "Locations" then highlight "Locations"

2. Access your location's settings

Find the action buttons to the right of the Acme Coffee — Downtown location card. There are three icon buttons for editing, copying, and deleting that location. Click the Edit Acme Coffee — Downtown button to open the location's profile editor.

This is where you can update your business name, address, and other details that your review campaigns and AI responses depend on.

HOVER "Edit Acme Coffee — Downtown" then highlight "Edit Acme Coffee — Downtown"

3. Review your Location Settings tabs

Inside the location, you'll see a Location Settings section in the left sidebar with four tabs:

  • Integrations — connect platforms like Google and Facebook

  • Limits — control review request frequency

  • History — view past activity

  • Notifications — manage alerts for new reviews

Click Integrations to verify your connected platforms are tied to the correct business profile. If your profile details have changed, misaligned integrations can send review data to the wrong location.

4. Add a new location if needed

If your business has expanded, click the New Location button at the top of the Locations page. This creates a separate location profile with its own integrations, limits, and notification preferences.

Each location operates independently, so changes to one won't affect the others.

SCROLL UP then highlight the "New Location" button at the top of the Locations main panelSCROLL "Locations" then highlight "New Location"

Tip: If you manage multiple locations, use the Team section under Business Settings to assign team members to specific locations — so the right people receive notifications and have access to the correct profiles.

5. Confirm your changes are saved

After editing your business profile, confirm your changes are saved before navigating away. Look for a save confirmation inside the editor. If your address or business name has changed, check the Integrations tab to make sure connected platforms like Google still reflect the updated information.

Accurate profile data keeps your AI Agent responses, review requests, and reporting working correctly.

STAY "Locations" then highlight "Acme Coffee — Downtown"
